People Make the World Go 'Round

Hey folks!

Nothing really to report here. Still employed (thank you baby Jesus!), still un-married, childless and looking for some form of purpose outside of bills in my life. Don't feel any type of empathy for me....I am GOOD!

I mean that in every sense of the word too allowing life's curve balls to onlymake me stronger, smarter and kinder with others. I could talk/type about all the negative but you know what I am American and we always complain about all the amenties we have or would like to have that other country's only imagine....*breathes*

Trying to get my physique at least half way to where it was so I joined a gym right down the road from my house. So far I have gone to the gym to do cardio, four times and Zumba....once. I got sick after that last Zumba class because I am so smart I left my coat in the car and had to walk out sweaty......during winter in Illinois....not a good combination. It put me down for a couple days but I am back up!

My bff who I haven't seen in probably over a decade is coming here next week to visit for the weekend and I am soooo very excited. She is more like family since our mothers were friends in high school and had us both around the same time in the same year....she is older (lol). So we actually have been friends since we were eggs as I always describe the relationship to others. Despite myself and Slim being so wishy-washy he assisted her in planning her visit here to surprise me and that touched my heart :) considering one day we are together and planning marriage then the next we are on break and trying to find happiness alone.....yeah I told her we broke up, I swear I could feel the side-eye she was giving me all the way from South Carolina!

I start school in the summer, I think....I say I think because I paid the school'd application fee and sent in all the necessary information but haven't been contacted ONCE for confirmation. I will definitely be calling them by March if I don't hear anything next Tuesday at the latest. Don't play with my MONEY!
