I would thank my lucky stars that I am not a woman.
We as women do so much accommodating 'ish for those suckas! So I went and got a Brazilian Wax.........to make mines happy and to peg my own curiosity. Plus I had a coupon *side eye*
So Monday I called and made my appointment for 6:00pm at a local spot near my home. After reading 50-11 different experiences on-line I almost psyched myself out because none of the experiences I read were very comforting. But I guess that is not really possible when someone is all up in your stuff and snatching wax off your wooohaaa. Brazilian Waxing is not for the faint of heart or modest.....
After work I headed home to shower because no one is going in my stuff after a long day. http://www.truth.com/
Then I threw on my sweats and sneakers to head to the spot. I got a little anxious waiting around and eventually would have called to cancel if I sat until time to really leave, so I got there about 20 minutes early. The receptionist was really nice and asked if this was my first time. We chatted for a minute then Raji my esthetician came out and escorted me back to the room.
She used a wax bar for the outer areas and this hardening blue wax for the innards which didn't require a strip to remove. When she pulled the blue wax it was so quick that the sting only lasted 2 seconds. Her contorting my legs was a bit interesting too but I guess its required to get a "clean" result. She cleaned the area when I first got there and applied baby powder all over the top before applying the wax bar to my vajayjay......each time she pulled a strip away she placed her hand over the spot and then baby powder again. She encouraged me through each snatch away by letting me know for my first time I was doing pretty well. It got weird when she told me to get in the doggy position.......I did it anyway and that was the least painful area that she snatched away. At the end she cleaned me up and dusted me with baby powder then sprayed bump away on my stuff when burned like hell!!! But pain is beauty?
Overall the experience wasn't as bad as had hyped myself up to believe and less painful....I didn't tear up one time -kudos- nor did I scream. There was some suppressed words I moaned through but not as bad as my first tattoo. The only weird part was her placing her fingers on my "lips" to spread and apply the wax, yeah that was a little disheartening but I knew it was apart of the process. She asked me if I wanted to leave a landing strip or triangle behind and I declined.....now *looks down* I wish I had left something.....looking a bit juvenile here.....it's like a 6 year old version of myself.......yeah something will be left behind next time.
I would do it again and will in 4-6 weeks. She explained that I should not trim, shave or nair anything in between my appointments which will be hard depending on how fast this stuff grows back. Today I have a little soreness but nothing traumatic at all......
Have you ever had a wax? What was your experience? Would you do it?

I have always wanted to do this. I'm glad your first experience with this was not traumatic. #lovinoneselffeelsgood#
