Love Jones - Girl (Nina) breaks up with some light skinned brother and heads to Chicago to house sit, work on her photography career and clear her head. Artist Type Guy (Darius) meets girl and runs his poetry game. They fall in love, talk shit, cool their heels, makes again and breaks up again because he doesn't want to admit his love for a woman who has obviously captured his heart when she has the opportunity to further her career. Finally he see's the light but she is heading to New York, he takes it on the chin but she still clouds his mind. She comes back to visit kicks it with his friend but Darius ain't having it -
Nina says....You always want what you want when you want it. Why is everything so urgent with you?
Darius responds -"Let me tell you somethin'. This here, right now, at this very moment, is all that matters to me. I love you. That's urgent like a motherfucker."
